Any development which seeks to increase traffic will likely require a Transport Statement or Assessment to be undertaken to support any planning application. At LSR Transport our team of transport planners and transport engineers are able to plan for the increase in movement associated with the development and engineer solutions where needed to ensure successful journey through the planning system.
At LSR Transport we have significant experience in using Travel Plans to mitigate the potential increase in car traffic associated with developments to reduce the offsite infrastructure costs. The team are able to tailor Travel Plans to support planning applications and co-ordinate their implementation to full-fill planning requirements.
At LSR Transport we understand that the movement of people, within developments is key to their success. We are skilled in tailoring developments to ensure what often is seen as competing requirements for pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles can be suitability accommodated to enhance the design and maximise the potential of the development.
LSR Transport are able to provide support to our Clients to help their sites through the local plan process to enable the site’s allocation by providing the technical transportation evidence to understand the suitability of the site.
At LSR Transport we see planning appeals as the last resort however have experience in successfully presenting transport evidence at appeals.
